Know what? They’re both right.

The truth is that modern grammar is very, very, very different than your grandpa’s grammar. Heck, your grandpa might not have even been able to read and write, let alone analyze sentences. To that end, this series of warm-ups is designed not just to make you aware of the generally accepted rules of grammar, but also to give you the freedom to break these rules as necessary.
