Hello!
After a terrific weekend (check out the 10th grade blog for some pictures), we’re right back at it with Othello. Here’s your week:
Monday + Tuesday: These will both be days for your groups to work on finishing the preparations for your performance of Othello.
Homework: If your group is not going to be ready for you performance, you need to dedicate some time outside of school.
Wednesday + Thursday: We’ll be acting out our respective scenes! This should be loads of fun, and I’ll try to post some photos from the performances.
Homework: Study for Friday’s exam!
Friday: After our performances wrap up we’ll be taking our final Othello exam. You’ll be asked to identify 7 of 10 important passages. You need to let us know who the speaker is and why that passage is important. Naturally, it will be open book, though that might actually make it more difficult.
Note: Next Thursday (March 18th) I’ll be conducting another Notebook check. My expectation is that you’ll be around 25 hours. If you aren’t, I’ll be calling home. If you need some help, or if you need notebook forms, just ask.
